| Abstract | The radiation and gas-dynamic parameters of explosions of explosive charges of different designs at the earth's surface and in the ionosphere and the conditions of their simulation in the rarefied atmosphere on the basis of gas-dynamic scaling laws are investigated. The noted in the experiments extensive modification of the ionosphere at a cumulative plasma jet injection from the explosive charge connected with the additional action of the shock wave and ultraviolet radiation explosive blasts. Tested constructions of cumulative sources of plasma jets may be useful in simulating nuclear explosions, the entrance of cosmic bodies in the atmosphere and in a variety of technical applications. Explosions of high explosives can be useful for short-term modification of the upper atmosphere and ionosphere. |
