Abstract | The article is devoted to the application of wavelet analysis to identify local peculiarities of the characteristics of dynamical processes with the data obtained from the experiment (natural or numerical). It presents examples of wavelet-transformation of time series obtained in the diagnosis or the simulation of various engineering systems. The geometrical visualization of dynamic processes with the help of the wavelet-transform provides an opportunity to highlight specific dynamic features of functioning of technical systems, which allows to determine the status of the technical object to the specified criteria or parameters. One of the key parameters of the time series is the frequency spectrum and the distribution of energies on frequency components. For the analysis of these parameters and their distribution, there is a procedure of a clustering of the data with the help of the method of the theory of fuzzy sets. |
