Abstract | In linear approximation, a flutter is accompanied by acoustic diametral modes of pressure pulsations. In a nonlinear approximation, the second harmonics of flatter frequency appears in the flow velocity field, which reflects in the blade oscillations and shifts their equilibrium. As founded in axial turbo compressor under study, oscillation amplitude of rotor blades under flutter decreases locally in time. However, next the oscillation amplitude of rotor blades begins to increase with evolving flutter. As shown this is the result of a nonlinear flow response on increase of the blade oscillation amplitude. |
