| Abstract | Because of 75 anniversary of creation of the A.A.Blagonravov Institute for Machine Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences the milestones of its evolution and the fundamental scientific results, gained by its scientists and specialists, are stated. It is noted that the machine sciences as the scientific discipline, occupied in development of the theory of machines and their complex researches, were posited in a basis of the decision of Academy of Sciences of the USSR about the Institute for Machine Sciences creation in 1938 as a part of the Department of engineering science of Academy of Sciences of the USSR. The main tasks of IMASH activity included the solution of the basic problems ensuring scientific understanding of base propositions of machine sciences, upgrading of engineering industry and creation of new constructions of machines and mechanisms. |
